"When our son decided to be a goalie we looked at quite a few goalie schools for private, semi-private and team practice sessions. We chose "The Crease" for many reasons. The positive, respectful and supportive mentoring at "The Crease" has made our son look at the instructors there as part of his extended family. Through the years, the pace and content of the lessons has changed to accomodate our sons age, skill level and endurance. We liked the idea that they did not teach "one style" of goaltending but taught him a wide variety of techniques and when it was appropriate to use them in game situations. They are extremely flexible when it comes to accomodating us when conflicts arise between lessons and games or practices. March Break, Try-out and Christmas camps have all been organized and fun for the kids. I would strongly recommend "The Crease" for goaltenders of all ages and levels of development, you won't be disappointed." Frank and Barb Bessette, Parent "My son has been attending The Crease for five years now, and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Dave and his staff of quality instructors have seen my son through his days of wearing player skates and borrowed equipment in house league, all the way to AAA. They have been able to adjust their techniques to the level of my child’s development, and have provided him with challenging drills at every session. The instructors are also experienced in playing hockey, and given that goaltending is such key, but underrated position, they know how to address the mental aspect of the game. I have and will continue to highly recommend their programs to parents with a goaltender at any level." "This is my sons first year as a goal tender. He started with The Crease in July 2005, (6 months ago). When he went for hockey try outs this September he ended up getting picked for a team two levels above what he was playing on as a defenseman last year. I thought that this was good but was worried that my son would not survive in this advanced division. Well his team is in third place so far this year and within 3 points of the 1st place team. He's seen as one of the best goal tenders in this division. I'd like to think that it's just talent that's gotten him there but I know that's not the case. The training that he's taken at the crease has made him a solid goal tender in a very short period of time. His moves on the ice are professional looking and he's never caught out of position. He loves the game and he loves the training at the crease. Dave, Boo and the boys treat my son with respect and provide allot of patience and positive reinforcement while on the ice. Good job guys. I made the right choice by coming to your school. I never thought that my son could improve as much as he has and I owe it all to you. Thanks Again." "Growing up in Seaford Ontario, a community rink was open in the morning and the kids would run to get on the ice to work on the "little things". The Crease gives that opportunity and so much more, with amazing instruction from Dave Dolecki. It is a definite win-win for goalies of all ages." "In speaking with parents present, it was easy agreed that Dave and Bujar impressed us with there level of preparation, their ability to organize a fine staff, and their ability to interact positively with kids. These two together have a chemistry not found at any other hockey school we've been to." "I have known Dave for several years and what impresses me most is how personable he is. So, it is definitely true that when they say quality people do quality work. With years of professional hockey experience, asking for Dave's help is an easy decision" "The Crease staff are dedicated teachers with excellent communication skills. Dave Dolecki’s passion and enthusiasm will inspire all his students to achieve their potential and still have fun. His training methods are exceptional; The Crease will get the most out of you and I would recommend TCGA to any goaltender." "It is rare to find someone with both Dave's extensive knowledge AND the ability to teach kids in a manner they can understand and relate to. Dave and Boo are the best!" Joe Duffy, Parent "I like going to The Crease because we don't do the same drills over and over. It is always different and interesting." Ryan Duffy, Atom AAA goalie It's a pleasure dealing with such a good organization who's interest are for the kids. Bob Josza, Stew Josza |
