WELCOME
THE CREASE GOALTENDING ACADEMY is a year round ice hockey goalie school for goaltenders of all caliber, male and female, children and adults. What sets us apart from other ice hockey goalies schools and ice hockey goalie camps, is that we own and operate our own state of the art hockey training facility on REAL ice (not plastic) designed specifically for ice hockey goaltenders. Our facility is equipped with all the latest training tools and we have our own private dressing room. We are conveniently located in Canlan Ice Sports Etobicoke beside Rink #4. Canlan Ice Sports Etobicoke is our home rink for all our hockey schools, ice hockey camps, ice hockey summer camps, goaltending clinics, coaching seminars and goalie lessons.
THE CREASE GOALTENDING ACADEMY was established in the year 2000 by Dave Dolecki and Bujar Amidovski. In the past decade several of our goalies have advanced to hockey's highest levels. Whether it was from house league to A, AA to AAA, AAA to OHL and OPJHL to Division 1 NCAA (full scholarship), we are very pleased and proud of the members of our academy.
THE CREASE GOALTENDING ACADEMY is also in charge of goaltending development for Everest Academy. Located at The Pavilion. This collaboration between The Pavilion (Canada's largest privately owned fitness centre) and Everest Academy (Canada's first JK-Gr.12 specialized school for student-athletes) will provide student-athletes with a world-class environment.
Why has THE CREASE GOALTENDING ACADEMY developed so many ice hockey goalies? Each qualified instructor brings years of experience playing ice hockey and teaching several goaltenders in a hockey school, hockey camp, goaltender school or private ice hockey goalie lessons. All instructors share a passion, which is helping ice hockey goalies to play at their maximum potential. We take pride in our teaching, we do not try to change a goalies style, we use a multi-dimensional approach to goaltending; consider it a fusion of old school fundamentals combined with new age movements. Our instructors will systematically break down each skill you learn into components and follow this by proper demonstration, proper instruction and repetition. Our unique and innovative style of teaching emphasizes positive reinforcement and encouragement in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

TCGA has been recently been selected as the official goaltending school for development for all goaltenders in the Whitby Minor Hockey (WMH), Mississauga Hockey League (MHL), Ice Warriors (GTHL) and continuing with our relationship with Everest Academy.

CODY JANSMA, TCGA staff for the 2011/12 Season
We would like to welcome Cody Jansma to our staff for the 2011/12 Season. Cody played Junior A and CIS for Carleton University. He then retired and became a goaltender in the Ottawa area before moving to Toronto. He has worked at several goalie schools for the past 8 years and has been a goalie coach at the CIS level, Junior B level and AAA level.

PAULO COLAIACOVO is joing The Crease Elite Training Centre
We would like to welcome Paulo Colaiacovo to our staff for the 2011/12 Season.
Paulo brings a great deal of experience and has worked at several other goalie schools over his Junior and Pro career. Paulo will be working at The Crease Elite Training Centre and going to team practices.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Taylor Welsh and Gianremo Rossi !!!
After 7 years of training and 1 year as an instructor we would like to congratulate Taylor Welsh who was selected in the OHL draft by the Brampton Battalion. We also would like to congratulate Gianremo Rossi who was selected in the OHL draft by the Mississauga St. Michael Majors. Gianremo started to train with us 4 years ago, prior to this, he had never even been on the ice before.

Kapalka among CCHA Awards Banquet honorees
DETROIT - Lake Superior State freshman goaltender Kevin Kapalka was among the honorees at Thursday's Central Collegiate Hockey Association Awards Banquet held at the Fox Theatre.
Kapalka, who totaled 900 saves, and had a .924 save percentage and 2.34 goals-against average, was the fourth leading vote getter for CCHA Goaltender of the Year honors.

The Crease Training Academy summer camp instructor named C.H.L goalie of the month
The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Scott Wedgewood of the Plymouth Whalers is the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending November 28. Wedgewood earned two wins including a shutout victory posting a goals-against-average of .820 and save percentage of .974.

SPORT TESTING - HOCKEY
On December 31, 2010 from 9am to 1pm at Weston Arena, TCGA and LMHPH will be presenting Sport Testing Hockey Combine. This is available for goalies and players born 2001 A,AA, AAA to 1994 A, AA, AAA. Cost $100. Participants can see how they rank amongst players/goalies in own age group!

Bo Bessette
After 8 years of training and a year of instructing, we like to congratulate Bo Bessette who was the 3rd pick of the 10th round in the OHL draft to the Oshawa Generals.
Goaltending at the GTHL
Dave Dolecki and Bujar Amidovski have been selected to present goaltending at the GTHL premier coaching seminar. This seminar is the National coaching certificate program at St. Michaels College School on March 27, 2010.
Kevin Kapalka
After a standout season in net for the Vipers goaltender Kevin Kapalka has been voted OJAHL Best Goaltender and to cap off a fantastic season he has secured himself a Div. I scholarship to Lake Superior State. Kevin has been a student of TCGA since the age of 5 years old and an instructor the last 2 summers. Kevin has trained with Dave and Bujar for over 15 years. We are extremely proud of Kevin accomplishment and wish him all the best at the next level!

To reserve a spot for the 2009/ 2010 season or to reserve a team goalie coach please email your intentions to goalie@creasetraining.com. Indicate what type of lesson you are looking for ( PRIVATE, SEMI PRIVATE or 2 on 2), What date and time works best for you. Please give us 3 options and how many lessons you would like to attend.
May and June training for goalies born 2001 to 1999.
This is the perfect time for aspiring goalies to get some extra training. We would like to know if you are interested in a 2 on 1 lesson for $50 during this time period. If you are interested, we will find a suitable partner for your goalie and you can train with them for an hour on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. This program is only available until the end of June. If interested please email us back what times and date you want to attend.
